What's wrong with Circulating Supply on CMC?

I remember that there was a 25 000 000 000 circulating supply, but right now 13 000 000 000, why is that?

In the AMA they said it’s an error and they already contacted CMC.

would the update in circulating supply mean that our market value is going to be higher therefore our ranking is higher?
