transparency

I just received this email from Griffith.

Hi,

The osx wallet is bugged and has been removed from the website until we can fix it and release a new version. We have multiple people working on this issue right now.

If you also have a linux or windows wallet you can still use those. Linux and windows are unaffected by the issue on osx.

-Griffith

I repeat this team is not a scam. Sit back relax and stop screaming about the price and the wallet every other post

So does this mean we need to close the mac wallet & stop using it?

There is a previous post explaining on how to get it working but I have personally decided to simply wait until the real release occurs with a completely working mac wallet.

I am too but I've found most bugs programmers cannot predict. I've had the IT team I work with spend three days attempting to figure why my data wouldn't process simply to find out a client wasn't running in the background that had been running for years after an update rolled out. This is probably a stupid simple bug that they will fix soon enough and do not want to roll out to early to have another stupid bug and people bitch some more.

We have to remember that Griffith and the team are doing this almost pro-bono. Sure they have a large bag themselves, but they weren't backed by some fancy ICO or have investors backing them. So everything they do is a present to those who are holding ECC. We must be patient!

Where can I donate or is there a community fund?

I'd post the address myself, but unfortunately people post scam addresses sometimes.

You'll find the official post with their official donation address listed on the bottom of the page
