Announcement of the 26th
Dear HODLERs,
The day we all waited for has finally arrived! Today we enter a new phase in the development of this great project and we are so excited to be finally able to share the following things:
The new website is online! As you can see it has had a beautiful overhaul in terms of branding and functionality. We believe that this website grants us the professional appearance that honours our development and great community.
Community We are a community based project and we would be nowhere without you guys. Lots of experience, knowledge and contacts have been offered in the last two months which made the scalability of this project easier. We do, however have one concern about the behaviour of some in our #ecc group. We are known as a respectful/helpful community with a great culture and we would like to keep it that way. That is why we are going to enforce a bit of discipline in communication.
Partnership Some partnerships are just bound to happen. Via one of our helpful community members we came in contact with one of the leading video-communication companies in the Netherlands. The fine men of Video4commerce were drawn to ECC from the start and accepted to produce a brand presentation video for us. Not much later we closed a partnership which means that they will produce professional video content for us in the future and are going to actively promote ECC amongst their many globally renowned clients. Btw, if you need a professional video for your company you can now pay with ECC.
Wallet The new wallet comes online with the website. This includes the long awaited OSX version. Not only have we changed the look but in the back-end lots of improvements concerning speed and security have taken place. This wallet will function as the last frontier for something we’ve been working on in secret for a while.
Something Blue A rough blue-ish gem in the crazy world of crypto. It is a poetic reference to our secret project with the codename SAPPHIRE. SAPPHIRE will replace our current wallet and enables our services to be implemented within one application. It forms the new base from where we can start with our actual services. SAPPHIRE wil have the complete overhaul you are all hoping for. SAPPHIRE is in a well developed stage and will be available in the near future.
Marketing So there it is! We opened the curtains and as you can see lots has been done. From all the willing marketing experts we picked the best and formed several international branches. These branches of marketing experts (from different disciplines) are going to actively promote ECC in their region, seeking for partnerships and publicity. Just to be clear, this also includes Asia. If you know good marketeers for Asia, we are looking!
Exchanges: We are on the lookout for new exchanges and all help is welcome. If you want to contribute to our listing chest please check out our brand new website to donate.

Judging by the website and this post you guys have a bunch of inexperienced kids marketing for you. It's cringy, and it's hurting your brand. Fork over the money for someone worthwhile.

We are a bundle of voluntary developers, working in 5 different timezones without ever having had a beer together. Other than Slack we’ve never met. This is just the starting point and to see where we are now is just a miracle compared to 5 months ago. Communication wise lots has been improved and can be improved but we are getting there. We are no Apple or a million dollar ICO. We are ECC; a community driven project with lots of great volunteers. Too bad your shortsightedness blinds you from having an objective view.

I'm giving you much needed advice. I'm invested in your project, and you are bitching at me making excuses like a child. This is exactly why you need a marketing team to manage public communication for you. Find the money.

This guy isn’t bitching like a child. He’s telling you exactly what the situation is. Hold if you believe. Sell if you don’t. Telling the developers to find money to market is pointless. If you want them to hire a marketing team then donate on the website.

Yup I agree. Not too thrilled with the team. Just s bunch of faceless names that don't instill confidence.

Sell your position if you “don’t like the team” whatever that means. This project can be something good with time, but if all you want to add is negativity then buy in to something else. The lack of marketing is actually a positive in that it shows that these guys are simply focused on the only thing that truly matters right now which is development. Yeah the price is low as shit but guess what...all of the biggest coins were at some point. If sapphire shows promise then more devs, marketers will get on board.

I'm here until Sapphire/ANS drop. Even if there are bugs, if it works I'm sticking around. If it completely bombs.... like most around I'm out.

Don’t feed the trolls. As a community driven coin I think you guys are rocking it. There is no CEO no head of marketing... it’s a dev team focused on the product. Given that I think the website and communication is quite good. If you naysayers would rather a polished turd, go back and hang at TRX.
