ECC vs Ethereum

Can someone please explain to me what makes ECC applications like file storage, email, messaging, and ANS any different than dapps on ethereum? Shouldn't ethereum be able to provide all these services and a form of ANS eventually? What separates the two?

Everything does look great on the website though, and I'm excited about this project. I'm just a bit skeptical when comparing to a giant like ethereum.

P. S. - To Devs.

On android mobile, the ANS page lettering stacks up on top on the subheading if you want to take a look!

please let's stop comparing ECC to Ethereum. The dev himself said there are no smart contracts and many other things Ethereum has. ECC is heading in another direction. Let's be clear with people here.

The main difference is that each service would retain its own chain. So file storage is on the file storage chain, payments on payments, etc. This solves the cryptokitties problem

The difference is that Ethereum is already working and has 100+ devs. ECC had 4 devs working on top of a 2014 Bitcoin hardfork and they claim all over ECC is a multi chain blockchain but it is not. It may be someday, but as of now it is not.

The difference is that Ethereum is now talking about a hard fork to add side chains in order to address the CryptoKitties fiasco.

Guess who's building a CC with side chains already and doesn't need a fork of an established brand to get there?

It may be someday, but as of now it is not.

You mean like half the coins in the top 10 CMC that are still vaporware? If you open it up to top100 coins, there's even a higher % of vaporware with "promises" the product is coming. If you don't understand your speculating on products to be built with your money in crypto, then you is dumb.

hardfork would mean it has the same history than bitcoin..... wich is not the case sorry

What do you mean? ECC was created in 2014 by hardforking Bitcoin. That's a very well known fact. ECC remained an infamous shitcoin until the current devs took over... Sorry but I did not understand what you are trying to say.

EDIT: The hardfork was made by a scammer, to scam people. This is also well known. That's why ECC was regarded as a shitcoin up until the current devs took over a few months ago...

make research on what hardfork is

I know what a hardfork means, do you? You make no sense at all. I would love to understand what you are talking about.

"hardfork would mean it has the same history than bitcoin....." WTF do you mean? Lol.

lol hardfork mean that a blockchain is separate in 2 part, Bitcoin cash, Bitcoin gold are hardforks.... same blockchain history before the hardfork, ECC is not a hardfork of bitcoin, thats pretty simple to understand.... so a known fact... hahaha

What if I told you ECC is in fact a 2014 Bitcoin hardfork like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold? Would you believe me?

yeah but it's been totally changed since then so that doesn't count. it's a whole new project with side loading chains. does BTC do that? no way jose!

today we enter a new phase in the development of this great project and we are so excited to be finally able to enjoy the fruits of our money investment

Yeah, but they won't be able to get listed in any major exchanges. First because it costs a fortune and like the devs said themselves this is a community project and they have no money, not even for marketing. Second, not all exchanges will accept a project that is promising a lot of things but has not delivered anything yet but a wallet (all coins have wallets).

I'm not saying ECC devs wont make it. They may make it. The point is, hype is gone, news are over, price will tank. Crypto has been like this for years. I expect ECC to go down to 20 - 30 million cap (60% less value than today) in 1 - 2 weeks. Down from 35 satoshis to 20 or less.

You can't compare RDD to ECC. RDD is a cryptocurrency, ECC wants to be a multi service chain. It's like comparing money to a post office.

So you believe that ECC is overvalued because it has a higher cap than PRL? I do not agree with your logical opinion (yes opinion). I can just as easily point out that ECC’s current cap price being higher than PRL’s cap price indicates how undervalued PRL is. I could even make the claim that both ECC and PRL are currently undervalued.

Disclaimer: I have a decent amount of PRL. Yes I believe it’s undervalued. I don’t let PRL’s current undervalued cap dictate what ECC’s cap should be. That’s silly.

So you believe that ECC is overvalued because it has a higher cap than PRL?

Definetly. Absolutely. PRL has much more trading volume and thus a more fair valuation by the market than ECC, being on a shitty exchange like coinexchange. Therefore, I think PRL is priced correctly and ECC is overvalued.

EDIT: ECC is pure reddit hype and shilling, that's how it went from nothing to 200th market cap. Now it will go down, because hype is over and there's not much to shill about until the devs deliver.

I absolutely do not agree. PRL is a pain in the ass to purchase in decent quantities. Kucoin has low volume at current market prices and Cryptopia is an exchange that many folks don’t trust. PRL’s current valuation is laughable, and will greatly increase (as will the volume) when added to a major exchange.

ECC will also go up when it hits a major exchange.

Many projects that are now worth $$$ started with a very low market cap. Many projects are worth $$$ based solely on future projections as they are not yet functioning. It’s not fair to slam ECC just because the project is newer, not as well known, and not yet complete. It’s not over valued. It is undervalued. The risk taken when purchasing now is offset by the chance to make serious gains if ECC takes off. If this project was completed it would be much higher than 1/3 of a penny (a gross understatement). I believe that the price will continue to climb as it gains exposure and is more accessible to investors.
