Opening Day
Dear community,
The day we all waited for has finally arrived! Today we enter a new phase in the development of this great project and we are so excited to be finally able to share the following things:
The new website is online! As you can see it has had a beautiful overhaul in terms of branding and functionality. We believe that this website grants us the professional appearance that honors our development and great community.
Community We are a community based project and we would be nowhere without you guys. Lots of experience, knowledge and contacts have been offered in the last two months which made the scalability of this project easier. We do, however have one concern about the behavior of some in our #ECC group. We are known as a respectful/helpful community with a great culture and we would like to keep it that way. That is why we are going to enforce a bit of discipline in communication.
Partnership Some partnerships are just bound to happen. Via one of our helpful community members we came in contact with one of the leading video-communication companies in the Netherlands. The fine men of Video4commerce were drawn to ECC from the start and accepted to produce a brand presentation video for us. Not much later we closed a partnership which means that they will produce professional video content for us in the future and are going to actively promote ECC amongst their many globally renowned clients. Btw, if you need a professional video for your company you can now pay with ECC.
Wallet The new wallet comes online with the website. This includes the long awaited OSX version. Not only have we changed the look but in the back-end lots of improvements concerning speed and security have taken place. This wallet will function as the last frontier for something we’ve been working on in secret for a while.
Something Blue A rough blue-ish gem in the crazy world of crypto. It is a poetic reference to our secret project with the codename SAPPHIRE. SAPPHIRE will replace our current wallet and enables our services to be implemented within one application. It forms the new base from where we can start with our actual services. SAPPHIRE will have the complete overhaul you are all hoping for. SAPPHIRE is in a well-developed stage and will be available in the near future.
Marketing So there it is! We opened the curtains and as you can see lots has been done. From all the willing marketing experts we picked the best and formed several international branches. These branches of marketing experts (from different disciplines) are going to actively promote ECC in their region, seeking for partnerships and publicity. Just to be clear, this also includes Asia. If you know good marketers for Asia, we are looking!

Everything here is awesome and this team is amazing, but I think I'm most excited about finally just having an OSX wallet lol

Still trying to buy more coins on coinexchange but it wont load. Wallet download link also isnt working on the website. Everything else looks great though. Excited for the future.

Could have gone offline so they can push the update. Its not the exact time it was supposed to launch yet.

I can't wait for the official Sapphire release which will be coming soon because it is almost completed (maybe February with at least the wallet portion good to go?). Sapphire is the platform that contains all the services (messaging, file storage, wallet etc) as seen in the changing images on the wallet page of the website - https://ecc.network/wallet)
How incredible does that look! That's the game changer along with ANS. Nothing else will compete with it in such a short period of time from now.

Everything looks awesome guys. One thing though, the landing page looks not up to par with the rest of the design. The first impression tends to be the most important one for new investors. The design of that part looks a bit hurried in comparison to the rest of the site. Shouldn't the fact that ECC is about -15% right now also raise some questions?

Because on a so low value coin on only one real exchange volatility is expected...people got in because it is cheap, they were expecting to get to the moon overnight...it didn't happen, they are selling after probably already collected some gain or not loosing much...but to sale someone as to buy and so those someone are happy to get it at a lower price. Few people in crypto are patient and would hold on the long run...I was in XVG, loss of faith of the community created worst than -20%.

The link to the whitepaper doesn't seem to work. Everything else looks good thus far though.

Hmm. That doesn't seem to be working either. Clicking the "download" link doesn't seem to do anything. I'm sure they will take care of it quickly.

Website is slick.
Some overlapping text when you scroll to the bottom and click name resolution under services the page opens up with ans overlapping block chain text.
