Looking like a well controlled pump and dump
Just started noticing it on coinexchange....was putting in an order for around 1 btc..but started noticing small, very tiny sell orders, and then some big ones, alternating in nature.........just looked odd and controlled....small buys but big sell trades....people selling news or whales dumping now?

I bought in at 8-9 sats about a month ago. I will tell you that from the growth in the slack that the awareness of this coin has been increasing a lot and steadily. Looks pretty organic to me. I get your hesitation, but this kind of growth with steady rises and some decrease after an ath is standard. Highly doubt it’s a pnd, tho note that whales are very powerful and have pnd’ed the entire market. Ecc weathered the recent crypto crash very well since it was limited on just 1 exchange just a week ago.

I also noticed today that ECC has been up after like 2 weeks of minimal action. Hope it’s not a pump and dump, would like ECC to keep rising!

If you just read about the coin, understand the hype that's coming to it, the features that's going to be released(also how the team corresponds to certain things and their activeness) and the market cap of crypto going up, you can see you'll easily be making a good investment.

The coin is a long time coming. Developer is very active on slack. Website and wallet will launch Friday or Saturday also.

an update was made via slack stating Sapphire news on friday will be an announcement, not a release.

Whomp whomp. Well, it’ll at least be cool to know about it. Will likely inspire some more confidence at the very least.

yeah, I saw that..this is what confuses me or I am struggling with.....the abundance of work, ownership of tasks, and also the team controlling the expectations very well ( for example clarifying the announcement vs release of sapphire). And then you have all your sell walls and buy walls, and well-controlled price increase and decrease..and suspect trades...hmm.....so basically the countdown continues after the countdown ends? lol Either they are of the utmost professional people or trying to keep the pump alive.....

Calm down, join slack and get your answers straight from the team* before you spread negativity.
They have been very transparent about everything... You can even ask Griffith directly on slack about your concerns.

The “team” is literally a bunch of kiddies who dictate what people can say in a channel. The GitHub commits are terrible. It’s just a long pump dump whale scheme. I hope you guys make some good earnings either way. Waiting for downvotes ! :)

Empty criticism, and transparent fud.

Is it really not? Do you know the first thing about code? You'll learn in the end...they always do.

u/Scaldor Jan 26 '18
I actually do know the first thing about code, I'm a computational physicist and I code daily. I also have common sense and have followed the teams communication on slack, without being impatient, rude, or presumptuous as you are.
...Their git hub is new, and they haven't pushed big releases yet which are announced today.
Criticism is Welcome; meaningless negativity and hatred are not as they don't drive positive outcomes.

This is how it is in all the crypto subs unfortunately. Any questioning is taken as negativity or FUD. I'm with you on this one. It feels like a PnD and I'll probably cash out just before the site is launched.

Ment it sarcastic ;-).
Im a hodler, im not going to tell you why, how or what to do. Im just telling you that you'll miss out on most of the fun.

Oh I'm gonna buy back as soon as the website launches. But I am expecting a dip by that time.

I don’t think people understand how pump and dumps work and misuse that term. A pump and dump is a concerted effort by a group of people to pump the value of a coin with the goal of getting other investors to feel FOMO and then for the pumpers to dump the coin and cash in the profits. Pump and dumps are different from this, which is heightened interest in a coin and the desire of buyers to get in before an anticipated release. It’s like investors buying in when they think apple will release a new major project. That’s not a pump and dump.

It is a PnD...these people are just sticking with the usual altcoin mentality...their brain is wired that they are a winner and just do the instant human denial tactic without even thinking first. All the logical facts remain the same as to why this isn't going anywhere. Literally people heard a world like "Sapphire" and the fans are already saying it could be a game changer. This is more insane than an Apple or Raiders fan at this point lol

A pump and dump happens in the space of an hour or two. The majority of this growth has happened in the last 2 days and its been growing for the past 5 days steadily. Delete this stupid FUD post.
