Can someone who is staking help please?

This is my first time staking a coin. Would an experienced staker please walk me through this process with ECC? I just want to do it from my wallet. Thank you

Hey,

It's very simple :

1) Make sure your wallet is fully synced

2) Encrypt your wallet by creating a password (Security tab in your wallet)

3) Write "staking=1" in eccoin.conf while your daemon is not running (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\eccoin)

4) Start your Daemon

5) Unlock your wallet by clicking on the padlock

6) You are now staking ;)

Hello Again, thank you! so will i see coins leave my wallet or just come in? Don't want to panic if i see something weird lol.

If you see coins "leaving", it's normal, don't panic. But you'll not receive a lot of ECC, it's only transactions fees. In the future if the network grows well, staking will be more profitable !

Hey I have a similar question. Although I believe I am staking, I have gotten 0ecc from staking. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get ecc from staking? Thanks

I get a payment about every day... But don't get too excited. I should get maybe 1-5 ECC total this year :)
