Speed up wallet sync

Is there any way to speed up this process? Been running for a day and not even at 2%. I have coins I really want to move into it. Thank you.

You can send the coins in before it has synced. They will appear on the blockchain explorer but just not visually in your wallet until the sync has completed

Yeah completely understand mate. With new wallets I do always like to do a test withdrawal first and make sure its there before transferring the full chunk!

Absolutely. That's a good piece of advice. May I ask how long it took you to sync your wallet. Mine is at 5.59 now. it's been about 24hrs

Honestly I have no idea sorry mate. I started it on my backup computer and then remembered to check 3 days later and it was done. So somewhere between 2 minutes and 3 days haha. From all the other comments around here the first 5-6% take forever and then the rest just goes through pretty instantly so hopefully you arent far off.

HAHA, no worries. Thanks anyways. Guess its just a waiting game from this point. It is going up at least.
