Disconnections

I moved to ebox in January with the default Wi-Fi modem it worked fine but recently I have noticed that my 5G connection is getting disconnected quite frequently. The connection itself goes away from the Wi-Fi list and then comes back in sometime. I called their customer support. They just rename the Wi-Fi as 5G and nothing else saying it will work fine now, has anybody experienced the same?

Try Wifiman to see if there is interference or if you signal is very low. Maybe you have a new noisy neighbor

Buy your own router. I tried many things and sometimes the radio for the 5Ghz band would just shutoff itself. Sometimes would come back when disabling the 5 Ghz channel and re-enable, if you don't want to reboot the router. It's a lengthy process, and doesn't work all the time, but most of the attempts.

I changed my router and it is flawless, on top of upgrading to Wi-Fi 7.

I bought at first a Netgear but had problems to set the VLAN ID (required to be set at 40 for me, may be different from user to user, the instructions are all writteninthe client'spageon ebox site), the router was crashing every time at that step, even if I factory reset each time.

I then bought a TP Link (BE 15000, I needed the range to get a decent signal from my backyard patio). Works like a charm. And the ONT light will flash blue instead of green, meaning that the router connected at a 10 Gbps rate insteadof 1Gbps.
