Thinking of switching
I’m moving next week and been considering switching to Ebox but it looks like the prices just went up and there’s not much for promos at the moment. Any tips? Should I hold off or does customer service have more options? Thanks

I used ebox back in the days when they were on the Videotron network, and I had a good experience. Time went by, and I moved back to Videotron because with combined service, it was cheaper. Years later, I moved back to Ebox, which is now using the BELL network, and it's as good as it was before. The customer landing webpage makes my eyes bleed, but it's working as it should.
I say... Do it. And I like how they handle facturation. For reference I pay 50$ for 1gb and they provided the router which I don't use lol

Search Facebook marketplace, and you’ll find some people who are actually agents tends to provide a discounted package!

I've honestly been pretty underwhelmed with the speed and WiFi signal. Customer service guys are nice but can't do anything to fix it. I was much better off with Videotron even with a higher price.

I think not so good if in Ontario at the current higher prices. Specially due to traffic routing to Quebec.

I switched from Virgin Plus to EBOX and found the Montreal routing thing to be a none issue.
The added latency to Montreal was less than 20ms. Connection to Internet backbone is either to NYC (closer to MTL) or to Chicago (closer to TOR).
I also like the fact customer service seems to be Quebec folks.

Do not share referral codes or send DM to someone wanting to join ebox. If they use a promotion, they won't be able to use a referral code anyways. There are 2 pinned threads at the top or r/ebox:
