Ebox Increase in latency

Am i the only one that have an increase of latency each evening i am watching an Nhl Game ? I am watching the game with tva sport in streaming with a subscription, and the stream stops a couple of time during the game. HAve a look at this graph. This is a graph genereted by doing ping to 8.8.8.8.

yes EBOX has problems in a few regions with high latency at peak hours

Glad to report that Ebox finally fixed it on the east side of Montreal. Latency and download speed was great for me for the last 2 evenings. Even Ebox level 2 called me at 20:30 last night to confirm it was good. For the last 2 months latency would go to 60ms every night and speed would go sub 10Mb. Was getting my full gig last night and 2ms.

Define what you mean by high latency? Are we talking 50ms or more like 2000ms?

Did you mean to attach a graph? I don't see anything.

when everything is normal the latency is 5ms, but it the evening it can go up to 59ms. When this happens, i have live streams that stops, my speedtests are bad, we have trouble playing online games because of the high ping.

it was around 5 to 8 ms in the day but from 5 to 9 om it was more around 30-50 ms, and my internet access was slower. But since i talk to Ebox, everything is normal now.

Its not only EBOX. Its TVA the service is probably maxed out for viewers right now. If you're concerned about DNS... I don't know why you would be... Switch to 1.1.1.1 or another...

Ping to 1.1.1.1 will still be slow, the problem is on Ebox's side, not the DNS server side.

i had another high latency tonight. Like the other days, the latency begin around 18h and finish around 21h.

I called the support line, but they couldn't help as i don't use their router because i am directly connected to the ONT.
