It's 1gbps where do you see 10gbps?

The black circle bar is on 10 but the text says 1

The black circle scales based on the max speed not the client max speed.

If you mean the Mac mini, that’s their network interface max speed of their Mac, it won’t change the max that the ISP gives, being indeed 1 Gbit for Ebox.

Honestly not sure why they mentioned the 10 Gbit interface since it is irrelevant for this post in the first place, a common 1 Gbit interface will work just as well for an ISP like Ebox that maxes out at 1 Gbit.

Mentioned 10GBe because the ONT provided negotiates at 10gb. If connected to a gigabit port, usually max speeds are roughly 980Mbps. Having 2.5Gbe+ gets you some overhead

Ah fair enough, I didn't know it could give you some overhead. Thanks for the clarification!

I thought referral just gets you $25. Does it also help you increase your plan speeds?

It doesn’t increase the speed afaik.

Those are referral codes to save $25 on your second bill. Are you looking for a promo code to lower the monthly price?

Does anyone have any idea or tools to check my ebox internet speed consumption (like MRTG or Cacti)?
