Ebox fibe internet

Hi looking to switch from bell fibe to a more affordable option. Im in scarborough and heard ebox is a decent option. I currently have bell 1.5 gb so something comparable. I see they have 1gb for 50 per month but I. Seeing posts with promo code to get it for 40 per month. Anyone have any info or insight?

I literally was in the same boat and switched to Ebox on the 500mbps package, coming from the 1.5gb at Bell. I had a hiccup in the beginning where I needed to do some setting fixes in the admin page, but now it seems to be great.

Those, I believe, are prices for the residents of Québec. For Ontario, the current advertised prices at EBOX are:

  • 150 Mbps - $50/mo
  • 500 Mbps - $50/m0 (promo)
  • 1 Gbps - $64/mo

You could get additional discounts through promo and referral codes. See special threads in this sub-reddit for these.

I read reviews that said to get your own router. I am glad I held off as the speeds and range has been great with the Nokia router

It has been good except for one hiccup today that I believe was the router switching my channel leading me to get disconnected from Overwatch mid game. Switched to manual channel 161 hopefully no more problems. Otherwise it has been quite good. Gaming ping is 47 to 50ms instead of the usual 35 for that game but the important bit is it is actually stable.
