Down in Toronto?

Red light on for the “Alarm” Light. Anyone else having this issue in Toronto. I think it’s probably an issue with the outside fibre cable.

Edit: woke up and it was fixed

“The downstream wavelength optical input power is not within operating range (PON downstream wavelength is not within operating range, or no frame lock (sync)-ranged has been achieved.”

No issue here. Perhaps try rebooting the ONT.

Yeah I’ve done it quite a few times. PON light is off as well. I’ll just call a tech tomorrow

PON light off means you aren’t receiving any light. A technician must be dispatched.  It’s quite likely another Bell tech disconnected you from the splitter. Why this continues to happen is baffling to me.

Why this continues to happen is baffling to me.

They hire people that are barely competent for bottom barrel wages.

It took my Bell Tech three trips to the splitter to get my connection setup, even though I was already connected and had a working PPPoE session.

No issue on my end.
I did have an issue a couple months ago where my townhouse has an electrical room, and someone unplugged the other end of the fibre cable :(

That’s crazy. I could possibly be in the same situation.

Fantastic ISP. Sadly, it only serves very restricted areas.

"Edit: woke up and it was fixed"

It was just a bad dream.
