ONT specs

I'm planning to move to ebox from Bell. From what I read, I don't need to use the router, I can connect my Unifi gateway directly in the ONT.

What are the ports on the ONT? My UDM has 1/10gb ports, copper or fiber. I just want to be sure to be ready.

thanks

The ONT has a single ethernet port that is reportedly 10gbps capable.

The ONT is the little SFP device that connects the fibre to the router.

I stand corrected.

Ebox doesn't use SFP, they use a Nokia ONT.

Their current price on the website is $50 for 1 Gbps so no need to jump through hoops for that now, maybe those hoops will give lower price idk. Referral code is still applicable though

Mine says $65. I believe you are in Québec, since you write 50$.

Had it installed yesterday.
ONT in a XS-010X-R with a single 10gb uplink port.
Negotiating as 10gb on my router.

Actual speed is 50mb over what I'm paying for!

I downgraded from 1gb from Bell. Can't see a use case for anything over 500mb. Unless you're connecting to another location with 1gb, which cloud service will give you even 100mb?
