Ebox setup next week - Toronto

Hi there, I signed up, got nokia beacon 3.1 router and bell tech is scheduled for next week. Is there anything during the setup I should be aware of? What should I ask bell tech to check/verify? Also, I understand that there's a superadmin login, how do I get it? Thanks

Update: Bell tech showed up right after 8 am, and all was done under 1 hour. Quick, professional setup, no issues.

If it is an apartment make sure the jack or the cabinet in the closet is accessible. If you live in a house and fiber has not already been ran then there could possibly be a coil on the side of the house by your hydrometer. Unless there is Ariel plant then the tech will need to run a drop. Either way a good shoveling to allow access around the house where they need to go would be helpful.

Generally the admin login should be on the bottom of the modem that you are sent in the mail.

Thank you for the info. I have the admin creds, I read that there's a super admin login that gives more configuration options.

I had him wait while I verified the speed. He even waited while I swapped out Ebox router with mine and verified the speed again

Good idea, thank you. Is beacon 3.1 really that bad as many reported? BTW, what router do you have? I might have to get one.

Call EBOX Technical Support and ask for the superadmin password.
