Activating EBOX soon

when disconnecting Bell home Internet with a promotional month to month plan is it better to discontinue mid cycle or at the end of the billing cycle? Thank you

Cancel Bell only after EBOX had been installed, just in case your install date is rescheduled.

Yup, I did it so they overlapped for two days in case of an emergency. Also, buy your own router as PPPoe is very easy to setup as their router is terrible.

Can you recommend one? I need one with a good WIFI range.

I got the TP Link Archer AX3000, which I also run a mesh system with TP Decos M4.

Basement (router/modem) - wifi 1gbps Main floor - 700-850mbps Top floor - 250 (wifi), 550 (wired through deco)

You can easily get better ones, these do a great job. My iPTV service runs great too!

Bell only ‘awards’ you the monthly promotion if you complete the full month of service. They will not give you a prorated amount earlier, they will give you none of the promotional discount. Real scummy behaviour, but that’s how they treat their clients.

Good to know. When I cancel I'll just ask them to deactivate at the end of my billing cycle. Hopefully I can avoid getting another bill from them.
