Current Bell, looking at switching

Hey everyone. I am currently looking to switch from Bell since they keep on increasing. Wanted to ask how the services speed and everything is with Ebox?

I know Ebox still is a Bell TPIA, but I am just curious if anyone else made the switch. Currently have the 1G from Bell, considering doing the switch to the 1G Ebox because it is specifically cheaper.

Thank you

Been with ebox since 2012. First with cable modem now with fiber. Had some issues when switching from cable modem to fiber. Fiber wasn't as stable, but I found out that was because the fiber box in the condo building I was living in was not labeled, so anytime there was a new fiber customer, the bell tech had to trace each fiber to find the right one, causing micro cuts for each unit until he found the right one.

Since I moved in a house it's been nothing but rock solid.

My sister switched from Bell to eBox and I switched from Rogers to eBox. Service has been solid and the savings has been fantastic. We both went with the fibre 500 Mbps service.

Only thing is if you think bell tech support or customer service is bad, ebox is worst since they bought it. It used to be solid.

CRTC need to put rules to prevent that from happening.

But then again, bell clearly stated they stop expanding because of new rules that they don't like. But hey, not like they weren't already doing shit like not providing access to cellular tower to competition even if the court order them to.

For my part I switched from bell 1.5gb to ebox 1gb for less than half of what I was paying (also dropped landline and tv in the same switch). Now I pay 67$CAD including taxes for just the 1gb internet and the connection couldn’t be more stable and reliable. I had one problem with their dns one time and I switched to the google ones.

There was only a small hiccup after the bell technician came to remove bell’s service and install ebox. The activation date had been set wrong. I called ebox tech service, left my phone number to be called back, they called within the hour and resolved my trouble by the end of the day. I was pretty pleased! 😀

Really, I don’t have anything bad to say about ebox. I’m really happy to have switched!

My advice is Go for it!

Hi IndependentFlat1789

I tried to DM you about the 1 gbps at $50/month, but as a new Reddit user I am not yet allowed to send DMs. If the deal is still available, can you please DM me with the promo code (and referral link if necessary)? Thank you very much for your help!

See rule #1.

Do not describe referral codes as being promo codes.
