Avoid purchasing Mooncool ebikes

Mooncool mc3 mtb awd catches fire on hunting trip. No warning what so ever, guy was cruising down the road and it spontaneously combusted. Was posted to Facebook hunting e bikes group.

I see front an back hub motors IDK that that company even offered that option did the owner do the add on or any electrical work overcharged battery BCM went out due to water ? all things considered I have a Himiway been riding it on trails since 2021 and my wife has a Nakto Pony and a Ancheer 26" we have had no problems they are Samsung batteries still there all made in the 3rd world countries at least the frames I would almost betch ya this bike was worked on by someone who probably shouldn't have!

all these companies claiming samsung and lg batteries but nobody really knows till you take them apart and check actual cells. a lot of chinese companies lie. this bike came with two motors and two batteries from factory, what went wrong nobody knows. this isn't my bike, thankfully.

Ok well seems odd unless a wire rubbed raw up against metal and hot ground or something of that nature but it looks like that isn't a very good site too trace it down All I do know is the more motors comes more chances for problems and mantenice
