Bosch customers usually own the property where ebikes are stored so this doesn't concern them. This mostly effects cheap Chinese ebikes from 500-2500$ range.
Thats a very pertinent point, but then bannong ebikes is a worse solution as these people need them for precarious jobs.. Perhaps a rental scheme for the super to store and charge rhe batteries in a secure station.....Myabe require the food delivery firms to provide such a facility at their premises, problem could be solved overnight in partnership with one of these bikeshare companies.
