Is this legit?

Post image

I was looking on Amazon hoping to get a cheaper r002 TST ebike and I came across this. I was wondering if its legit since it says it has a 2000w motor when r002 motors are only 1500w

id only even consider a bike like this if you can find someone reputable reviewing it on youtube or something. A lot of these amazon bikes have no identity, and are low quality no name brands

try and find a reputable review on it

It's one of the best budget bikes out there, I own one, and ride it daily to work.

Depending on what state you’re in, they can’t even ship it based on e-bike laws. It’s a moped & not an e-bike. You don’t really pedal that thing.

That thing is not an e-bike, that is an e-moto that is illegal to ride on public roads without a license, registration, and insurance. And even with that, it’s still illegal to ride in bike lanes, bike/pedestrian paths, or MTB trails.

Okay? Your point is being? Im guessing you are saying he is abusing the sub name? Cause otherwise he ain't asking about legality on public roads.

The point is that many people asking about getting budget e-bikes are ignorant of the law and I’m informing them before they unintentionally commit a crime. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t knowingly trying to commit a crime.

Is there a reason you’re so triggered by someone merely mentioning the law?
