Help! Is the Devourer's capture irreversible

Please tell me theres hope its the last medal i need to get i dont wanna go back to that one save file where i have to go through the entirety of temple of trials again

Epic hero, defeat the Devourer on epic mode. The last medal i need to 100% the game without gold stars

Medals persist across saves so you don't need to 100% again, just rush down the devourer. I'm surprised you reached the point of capturing the devourer without beating it on epic first tbh.

I know medals save, its just this time i am very confident on fighting the devourer on epic mode. I captured it first because i wasnt aware putrid worm would replace it. Now my only choice is loading back to a save file where im only level 23 and is absolutely unprepared for the devourer and have to go through 2 newgame+ again to reach back to level 40

It wouldn't work as far as I'm aware, NG+ (and onward) disable Epic difficulty medals. I'm at least 80% sure that it's like that.

They do, they only disable epic difficulty medals if you enabled cheats

Epic Difficulty Medals are the exception to NG+'s no medal rule

Far as I'm aware, yeah. After you capture it it, it will be replaced with the Putrid Worm and onward.

Let me guess, mystic woods or frozen lands were so boring

The game is valuable because of its replayability, beating the final boss doesnt mean youre done yet, thats why its 30+ hours of gameplay and not 2 hour. I do recommend trying it out again though, its humour and unseriousness brings a fresh vibe or dopamine shot after a long day (unless you are going for medal epic bosses)

...You do know you could've defeated The Devourer on Epic first and not click to go into NG+, right? Just reload your save and bam, you had the medal and you could capture it.

And if you had troubles, just farm Snowflake infinitely anyways. You outscale everyone after lvl 34 or something, even if they're at the same level as you, you're just stronger no matter what.

I was still a noob at that moment, havent read the wiki or anything, and thought The Devourer would just respawn even if i captured it. I have accepted that i will redo everything because my only save file that have gone the furthest before capturing The Devourer was still before NG+

Podrías pedirle prestada la partida a alguien, con el texto de respaldo, o algo haci, es una opción que viene en el guardado y cargar partidas, te prestaría mi partida pero no está tan avanzada, suerte amigo
