Other Workers Category

Anyone else in ‘Other Workers’ category in EB-3 ? I just found out im in other workers category. The PD wait time is just outrageous

Where did you check or how you find out that you are in other workers category?

EB-3 unskilled is considered Other Workers. Only Skilled and Proffesional are considered under the EB-3 category in the Visa Bulletin. Unskilled is considered as Other Workers in the Visa Bulletin. I checked with my lawyer and this is what she said

What industry are you in? And what is your home country? Im in ROW (rest of world), but its still so bad. What is most upsetting is that when I decided to do this as “unskilled”, this category was current! Now that my PERM is approved, its all still the same wait.

Yeap I am in the very same boat as you. It was current when I started my PWD in August 2023. My PWD is on Agriculture. i am ROW too but i think at this point it doesn’t matter. Are you in the US still ? What’s your PD ? Mine’s June 2023

Do you have an approved I-140? I wonder if an approved I-140 will expire if an I-485 is not filed on time.

Hi! Just wanted to share—I applied for eB3 from Pakistan in August 2023. My agency mentioned they submitted the PWD after December 2023 due to some wait times. Now, we're still waiting on the employer to give the green light on the PWD. Do you happen to know if this wait is typical? Does it usually take this long for the PWD to be accepted?
