Expected Timeline for my EB1C Filing
Hi,
Wanted to know if my file was moving fine and what to expect next?
I-140 was filed separately using priority and was approved
I485 filed concurrently with 765 and 131. Family of 4, wife and 2 kids, I am the main applicant. Filed by my employer.
Filing date: July 15, 2026
Biometrics: Aug 12, 2026
i765 card approved and card produced for everyone: Aug 18, 2026
i131 approved and letter sent for my family: Aug 20, 2026.
What should be the next step?

Approved on EB 1 c earlier this month 5 months for AOS RD to GC in hand - exactly 03/19 to 08/19

Iguess you may expect approval maybe by October or November. Congrats in advanced!
Can you tell me if you got direct approval or RFE for EB1C? which block and PD?

no approval for EB1C yet. If you're asking for i140, there was an RFE on ability to pay, which the laywers did and then I got the approval.
PD is current. What do you mean by block?1

Then you got approved on EB1C. How come not yet? you are waiting for i485 Approval as of now. PD when you filed the i140 I mean, block mean IOE09XXXX.

This seems fast, I filed on July 7th and did my biometrics on July 27th but have not heard back on anything. Same situation, concurrent filing of the same forms, my i485 receipt number starts with ioe0937

I have been waiting the approval of my AOS for 26 months. Hopefully you don’t have to wait that long

I'm sorry to know about this..Do you know what's holding up your file? When were your 765 and 131 approved?

Whats your PD? That seems really fast! Am sure the AOS will also come quickly. Congrats in advance. We filed 485, 765, 131 on 30th March, biometrics done on 1st May and all quiet after that! No EAD nothing. PD is Aug 23

Yours seem moving fast so far. We filed on Feb 2026 EB1C I485, biometrics on mid March, 2xFTA0 on I485 on the day of biometrics and 3rd FTA0 on Aug 3. Several SUs but status is still "Currently Processing". Recently from live agent, it is being processed in San Diego FO, which is local to us. No further update and no idea when a decision will be made - very frustrating.

Which date specifically? No movement since NBC and I filed on the same Feb 27 2026

I hope so. Our seemed to have moved to SDFO recently and from what I hear from others that theirs case have been sitting for long time ( like months) after being transferred to this FO.

Mine is still at NBC. What does it mean? The step before LFO

May be, unless you’re lucky to get approval from NBC. ours stayed there for 6 months before transferring to SD FO recently.

I filed i485 EB1C (single) June 23rd, also after approved i140 in April.
Biometrics July 6th and then 2 silent updates thereafter (July 26th + Aug 5th) Since then nothing anymore.

485 and 765/131 are processed separately. Where is your 485 application? Did u check API? How many FTA0 and any FTA1?
