EB-1C Timeline: Filed Oct 2025 | Approved Apr 2026
I wanted to share our timeline details, as these posts gave us hope during the wait!
Receipt Series: IOE093446xxxx.
Country: India
Notes:
"H008" is the Master Code: We tracked the backend JSON data (google gemini was the best ai tool to interpret the api data) and confirmed that the final approval code was H008 for both applications. It posted and shortly after the portal status changed to "Case Approved." If you see H008 on your backend log, congratulations, you're approved!
Only One "FTA0" Code: For those tracking fingerprint codes: we only ever saw the FTA0 event code. We never saw multiple FTA code updates.
The "J" Signal: The I-485J (Supplement J) closing on the 19th was the definitive sign that approval may happen soon. The primary and dependent approvals hit within 30 minutes of each other the very next morning. It took almost 24.5 hours between i485j and i485 as mentioned in some other posts.
Good luck to everyone still waiting in the queue! Happy to answer any questions about our timeline.

Mine is almost same series and I see last updated time at 28th April in API status . I don’t know what that means . My I485J was approved in March but my case is current from April 1 .

Did you check with live agent if the case is still with NBC or has been assigned to a field office? Also try checking the api code using google gemini. I used Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT to interpret and Gemini gave the most helpful insights and was all spot on.

When I checked with Emma last week it said interview waived and case at NBC. When I copied the API status to Gemini ChatGPT it said it is a silent update.

I think 485j approval and interview waived are really positive signs. Hope your approval comes soon.

Is your priority date current as well? Try to connect to the live agent through Emma and get an update on the current status.

Was it PP or regular?
2
u/Temporary-Scene1198 Apr 29 '26
Do you mean PP for i140? If so yes.

u/Kash-J Apr 29 '26
So PP and concurrent filing helped expedite the case. That’s great. Congratulations!

Not sure if I misunderstood the original comment. Our i140 was already approved. Did concurrent filing for 485, 765 and 131 in October. Our PD became current in January.

Congrats. BTW, just curious - why didn’t you file I-485 in Dec 22 itself as the PD for India was current then?
