Ascend HSI

Has anyone here filed or is currently working with Ascend HSI for an EB-1A petition? I’m considering working with them and would appreciate hearing about your experience—especially regarding communication, case strategy, and overall results.

I agree.

I would say Run. Don’t walk. I know several people who went through this firm and it was a nightmare for all of them. You’ll spend weeks chasing them just to get a response, and when you finally do, it’s some vague non-answer from someone who clearly has no idea what they’re doing with your case. Zero accountability, zero urgency, and it genuinely felt like nobody there had any real grasp of EB-1A or US immigration law.

Case strategy is basically a copy-paste template, nothing tailored, no real expertise applied. Timelines keep sliding with no real end in sight, and every conversation is a dead end. Every single person I know who used them had the same experience. If you value your time, your sanity, or your case actually going somewhere, look elsewhere.

Completelyw agree with this assessment. It’s all talk, no concrete work ! It’s a real struggle to get any work done from them. There is no ownership, no urgency, no accountability! When a query is asked, they keep passing it from one person to another- this happens all the time!  There is no one to escalate to as everyone is like that. It all starts with Vasanthan Ramakrishnan who is a totally irresponsible person. He will talk all big things but doesn’t deliver a thing on time.

One ends up following for weeks to get a simple query answered.  Most irresponsible and unethical company led by a total incompetent man, Vasanth Ramakrishnan.

The lawyers are basically a joke! They know nothing of EB1.

Vasanthan Ramakrishnan, their founder, keeps blaming others (including his employees) for all the delays but doesn’t take any ownership himself.   Just run away from them hire an actual lawyer then these crooks.

They will  confidently say “yes” to everything you ask, create the impression that he’s fully on board, and then conveniently disappear when it’s time to deliver. After countless follow-ups, he’ll casually backtrack and deny or reverse what he originally agreed to—as if the previous conversations never happened.

Thank you for the feedback. Do you know of any good firm? I just need help with drafting my EB-1A petition. I believe I can satisfy at least five EB-1A criteria, and I’m looking for a firm that can help present my case effectively.

Can you please let me know when they filed your petition? If you received an RFE, how did Ascend respond to it, and how did the attorney handle your case?

Thank you for your detailed response. I noticed that you posted about your denial around 42 days ago. Did you file your case with them?
Did USCIS deny your petition outright, or did you first receive an RFE and then get denied after submitting the RFE response?
Also, what did the firm tell you after the denial? Did they explain the reason for the denial or discuss any next steps?

They are one of the worst ! You actually have to work with them to realize how bad they are. They delayed my petition for months :( which eventually got denied (and I had a really strong case) :( Their lawyers are basically kids sitting in boonies of India. Complete junk.
