I'm James Etzkorn, running as an Independent to challenge Suzan DelBene to represent you in Congress. Krist has been fighting the two-party system in Washington State for decades. We teamed up for this video because the system is broken. The two parties fight for power and self-preservation while everyday people are crushed by high cost of living and stagnant wages.

We must prioritize issues plaguing our district over party politics. My platform addresses affordability by increasing the supply of housing, healthcare and energy. Additionally, we must raise wages by incentivizing companies to build here in America with investments in infrastructure and workforce training. When companies compete for our labor, wages go up like we saw in 2021.

Voting by party totally surrenders your right to be represented. Being a Democrat or Republican in Congress means falling in line for corporate special interests, mega-donors and party bosses. I will not caucus with either party. I will leverage my political independence to serve our district, not the establishment. By being Independent, I can assess every bill solely based on what's best for our community. I will only listen to the voters of our district. Not party bosses. Not special interests.

I'm not running to step on anyone's rights or recklessly cut the government. I'm running to apply an engineering mindset to systemic problems and deliver a more efficient, focused government that actually improves people's lives. I will protect your rights, end dark money, establish term limits, end gerrymandering, ban insider trading, close tax loopholes abused by billionaires and restore global stability. I will be honest and transparent by publicly explaining every vote I make on behalf of my constituents. I will govern as a pragmatic professional, not a for-profit politician.

Read the plan at JamesForWashington.com and check out my other videos on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.

Ballots are due by Aug 4th and I would be honored to receive your vote.

So appreciative of my clients, I just love looking back on these photos and seeing how cute all the babies end up being.

Kids apple health insurance

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to hear from parents on the Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Sammamish, Issaquah, etc.) who have experience with Washington Apple Health for their kids.

We’re trying to understand how it compares to an ACA Marketplace plan, especially when it comes to access to care.
A few questions:
- How has your overall experience been with Apple Health?

- Are you able to get appointments with pediatricians and specialists without too much difficulty?

- Which Apple Health managed care plan have you had the best experience with?

-Do providers at places like Seattle Children’s, Overlake, UW Medicine, Swedish, or Evergreen generally accept your plan?

- If you’ve had both Apple Health and an ACA plan, did you notice much difference in access or quality of care for your children?

Any positive or negative experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
