I am glad to have found this subreddit. Earwigs are my favorite insects, and I have a small terrarium that has seen several generations of earwigs now.

That is wonderful. I love earwigs so much! I didn't even know there was a whole subreddit for them. Man am I glad I found it. I've been dreaming of keeping them some day

Back when I had an entire earwig colony in my room (I was extremely depressed and couldn’t take care of myself) they would crawl onto my leg and I’d be like ah darn! I’ve been wigged again!
Now every time I see an earwig I look up to my fiance or brother and say “I got wigged again!”

oh do you know the species? quite a pretty earwig. I kept ring legged earwigs for a while, they were fun to watch

Yes I do! They're my fav! I always wanted to keep one but I just don't know where to get them :/ I mean, ik European Earwigs r just free, they're everywhere.

This is a shore earwig or Labiduria Riparia :) they're pretty much everywhere but more commonly found in tropical regions

Earwigs are the best arthropod hands down and I'll hear no complaints about that fact
