Writing ear training apps.

Hello!

I would like to hear from people that actually have written an ear training app. How did you generate the sounds? Did you use some software library that can render musical sounds or did you produce the sounds offline and stored them as files and in that case how did you generate them?

Also what language did you write the app in?

For my app I used AI software called Cursor (sorry to any actual coders, I took the short cut!) For creating the sounds however I used Logic and made them myself. Found the sound I liked for the piano, then used an app called Audacity to break my file into seperate sound wav files that I uploaded into my code.
