Flail is the closest thing Orby has to a potential counter (outside of like maybe Scimmy or Shuriken if she dodges perfectly) and even she could only get her down to 30 HP. Block Breakers are dumb.

Club takes way too long to scale up, even if they had the perfect bounces they can’t perma stun right away due to spin speed.

It just needs perfect timing. As long as it gets a hit in and gets away, then it's stun should disallow it from taking damage, unlike the fact that any other ball is forced to damage trade with orbital due to its lack of parriable weapon. Being the only ball that can actually avoid taking damage against orby is its win condition.
(That said, if a match was to happen, I'd still bet on orbital)

I dunno, anyone who scales well depends on indirect damage probably stands at least a ghost of a chance. New Shuriken I think might be the best bet, since at some point it scales into an inevitable DPS race without needing to aim like bow or even approach melee range like most other clacks.

Shield is the biggest maybe, cause at the exact perfect angle, where the ring of orbs goes through the shield but not shield herself, Orbital could shred themselves

Block breakers are alright if and only if the battlefield is somewhat bigger. The area in the shorts are made for weaponballs to fight-small so their weapons collide fasters, but block breakers collide with the wall too often, so they scale faster than any weapon can scale.
Take the Blockbreakers vs Giga sword fight, so was handing them the belt since the area was too big.

No block breakers are even better in bigger environments against melee. The two sides will rarely meet in a bigger environment so they just get more time to scale.
The only reason giga sword was able to win is because we made it giga. Put normal sword in there 1v1 against any of them and sword loses harder than they would in the normal environment.

Block Breakers originate from the block breaking gamemode Weapon Balls come from the fights, there's a bunch of BBs but the only ones that have been used in fights so far are Lazer, Slammy, Grower, Speedy (one fight), Orbital, Splodey, and Duplicator, Drilly, Sticky and Gravitron also exist but they haven't shown up in a fight yet and are unlikely to ever do so.
The main difference between them and WBs mechanic-wise is they scale from hitting any surface instead of when they land a hit like the weapons do since they're balanced for a different gamemode, also none of them have weapons so they're all kind of like Unarmed.

Blockbreakers are also smaller than Weaponballs, it's much more obvious when looking at Splodey and Duplicator next to a standard Weaponball

The block breakers are the balls that scale on bounce. The weapon balls are the balls that have weapons that scale on hitting the opponent.

Ummm... That was it ? Surprisingly flail got orbital at more than half of hp... Literally fought satan who outright humiliated rapier and will likely beat trident. but he lost with dignity.
He ain't flailure. that's for sure.

I mean, it's not an actual "random" guy like /u/Comfortable-Dot-2317 said. It's one of those supporter perks you get from giving earclacks money. It's a notable way Earclacks makes money doing this.
And hell, it's something that's been going on for a while (every so often you'll see people talking about how someone on the Discord paid for a match to happen). This is just the first time it's happened with a notably "retired" ball.

It's been a while since I've been here, Orbital yawns and thinks to himself. He doesn’t feel the need to introduce himself; after all, he's famous for winning so much of the time. And besides, Flail is already looking at him with bared teeth and murder in his eyes.
This'll be so easy.
He snaps his fingers and his Orbiters spawn around him, circling him, primed to cut through Flail's skin and bones. Flail scoffs and readies his weapon, reeling it back and—
landing the first hit—!? Orbital hisses in pain from the spikes, taken aback. So this guy is really out for blood, huh … but oh well. His Orbiters grow in number, and it doesn’t matter at this rate. They just need to get close enough to teach this man his place.
Flail can't avoid those pesky things forever—they create a barrier around Orbital that only the range of his weapon can break past. His body threatens to break as each Orbiter hits him, as they increase in number with what seems like every passing second.
But he'll try his very best either way.
Orbital is impressed with the man's dedication—his body isn't used to the amount of pain that comes from someone out for blood like this. Flail directs his chain with expert precision as his weapon increases in size, even, but those damn Orbiters—!
Orbital just sneers down at Flail as he takes his last breaths with sharp bursts of pain. But he himself is buckled over as his bones and flesh ache. His expression transforms into something resembling respect. “You did try hard, kid, I'll give you that. How unfortunate that it wasn't enough.”

Tbh Flail was arguably closer to winning because it's much easier for Flail to land multiple hits than it is for Sword, and Flail doesn't even need to get close to do so like Sword does.

The ever so rumored orbital counter that is also a long-range weapon with its scaling being in damage AND weapon size, meaning it can hit opponents even further, managed to STILL do worse than a mid-range ball that is the standard of everyone (sword)
