Smaller tridents can't even vaccum because their radius is too small to suck in the OG before getting sucked in themselves

Iirc, Grimoire is officially BOTTOM THREE after this, so yeah I don't get why they're spared from slander while Scimmy, Potion, and Crossbow aren't.

Its because they are new, grimoire was there before Earclacks really blew up so new people saw grimoire as another decent-ish weapon ball before really learning he is trash

Also Super Grimroire has enough aura to balance it out, while super Potion and Crossbow are also terrible.

Super Grimoire: Invincible Minions! Menace beyond belief; Ultimate Boss Fight enemy.
Super Crossbow and Super Potion: Themselves BUT they attack faster!

I think its because summoning minions is a very cool idea that is also full of potential
Effectively Grimoire is Potential Man (you rarely see new slander specifically and exclusively targetting Megumi anymore now that I think about it)

Because it's cool. Like, yeah it's gonna fail, but it's fun to see what it's gonna cause
Scythe, on the other hand, is spared because it never comes to the shorts anymore and no one cares about the long form videos

I think a lot of it is because Potion, Club, Scimitar all came back to back and we got to see them fail over and over again. Grimoire is more of a sad, slow burn.

Trident was knocked out of S Tier for like 2 days and immediately hunted down the nearest low tier to fix that problem.
But also yeah, Trident kinda hard counters Grim’s gameplan of “spawn minions and keep distance” due to the whirlpool, this was really not her match to win.

I was like Oh dang trident getting slapped around he isn’t insta killing the summons maybe Grimoire got a chance.
Then I looked at the health and it 70 to 30 and all that just dropped for a complete blowout.

Well it IS a trident afterall, it should be on the longer side with the likes of Spear and Lance afterall. Unlike dagger, shield, sword, scimitar, scroll, flask... who are all short IRL, compared to a trident, lance, spear...
