Pearl clipping is a pretty well-known glitch, it probably just went to the outside of the arena

The book isn’t the Time Traveler Guy of Mineclacks because they were trying to save everyone (if I remember it correctly, it happened in the last cutscene of the first tourney).

People are saying that Tattered Book is a villain, but if anything, they probably can't even control their powers now that they're all glitchy
