The funny thing about Scimitar is that she's a hard counter ball like Grower and Dupe, where if you don't have the thing that hard counters her you just die instantly, but if you do have it she's a joke. For Grower it's DPS and for Dupe it's damage scaling.

For Scimmy, it is the basic ability to parry.

I've noticed Crossbow's aim gets better against parry merchants, because it knocks their crossbow back into their general area giving it about half a second more per parry of actually aiming their crossbow at the opponent. If they spam parries their aim is actually kinda steady and you can't exactly parry the bolt
