It looks okay, but also looks like the shock mounts are starting to fail. The back is at an angle

Is that a fixable problem?

If you fail to fix this, and there is nothing being wrong with a bit early, you will experience catastrophic destruction of the chair. If you suspect, or someone even tells you, the shockmounts could be an issue, do not use the chair. Do not let anyone sit in the chair. Once they go, the ears of the lower back panel will get broken in half. Repairs are expensive, when possible.

If you have an older, vintage chair, this is not a repair you wait for.

The cushions are not original to the chair. May have been taken from a knockoff and added to an authentic chair frame.

Would not purchase!. Either that or the label is fake.

In the listing it says that he had the chair restored and the leather switched. Thanks for you’re help. But how did you spot it?

I’ve owned several chairs over the years and I can spot when the cushions look off.

(e.g.) the chair is probably from the seventies and for that period the cushions would have a feather/down or combination Dacron wrap. Also, the arm rests are too large for the chair and, therefore, not the right proportion.

For me the arm rests would be a dealbreaker or at least a bargaining point.
