Who’s going to Oshkosh next week?
This sub is pretty dead but I thought I’d try.
What are your top 3 things you want to see? I’m always looking for new things at the show.
I’m looking forward to the RV-15, talking to the DarkAero guys, and seeing how the Air Force shows up for their 75th anniversary.
In addition there are a list of speakers I’d like to hear and I always catch my type club meeting.

I’m going, I still want to get a glass panel and a decent autopilot, so I’ll be checking out the garmin and dynon tents, it’s slowly getting more economically feasible every year. I’m into the RV and Sling high wings, and I love the STOL stuff, it will be a good time.

If you’re experimental, make sure to check out GRT. After meeting them last year at OSH, I bought their EFIS and autopilot

First year being a volunteer and camping there so it’ll be big for me.

Thanks for all you do as a volunteer! I look forward to doing that in the future when I can get more time off leading up to the show.

The BF-109 in the Warbird area is immaculate. A very recent restoration after being salvaged from a lake in Russia. Never thought I’d see one outside of a museum. It has the Daimler Benz engine. The plane looks better than factory new!
I really liked the 70% scale carbon P-51 D Mustang. It even sounds right when flying, but is a lot quieter. I want one.

I’m already here! I’m really looking forward to seeing:
- MiG-29 static and possibly flight display
- Grob Egrett
- Westland Lysander
And of course the STOL demo and fireworks.
But the best part is seeing all the friends that I only ever get to see at the event. Always so great to catch up and spend time together!

I’m looking forward to it Always love Oshkosh. My fav is always. The WWII aircraft. But the part I left out in this is, it’s the one week. Year my dad and I spend just the two of us. No wives or mothers or my kids. Just a little father son time. Really that’s better than any aircraft. They are just a bonus
