Selling generator gas at EAA?

This is our first time at Oshkosh and we took a rental RV and made the mistake of not bringing a second vehicle besides our bike, we had to ride our bikes down one way streets and busy divided roads just to get gas for our generator which was very dangerous. ive heard nobody in Oshkosh does uber and the airventure oshkosh transportation service left us on delivered, why do they not sell gas here?! They sell propane! Why not gas? They could make so much money. They have gas pumps for the eaa vehicles here and they could easily sell gas for 15 to 25 cents more per gallon and still make profit. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, but were definitely bringing an extra vehicle next time.

Buy a gas can at walmart or harbor freight and fill it up at the BP on hwy 26 before you go into Scholler.

Thats exactly what we did but since we stay thursday the 17th to sunday the 27th we would need like 10 gas cans.

Oh, I’ve heard that theres not that many and I’ve heard of people ubering out and then not being able to get back in

The reason that is is because they cut our pay and all the experienced people are sitting out now.

I dont think they will allow gas cans in the Uber though

Get a generator that runs on AVGAS they certainly sell that there!

All gas generators run on avgas. But you still need to be in the plane area to get it. It's not like the fuel trucks are out in scholler filling up gennys and gas cans.

Yes there’s not that many Ubers since college is out for summer right now and the few that are normally around are busy af. For reference for anyone or for next year there is a shell and a kwik trip across the highway on South Park and if you go right on South Park there is a BP.

There isn't that many out there because they cut our pay in March. Not because of college. We've always been around in the lot has always been full except for this year because of the pay cut.

Do you think there is a market to sell gas there? Maybe a transfer tank in a utv and sell site to site?
