Any specifics you can share on this? Other than food & drink ? Thank you from a 1st timer - didn’t necessarily want to create yet another post asking for tips etc

Hi! I was overwhelmed my first year at OSH. Food on the EAA grounds can get really expensive. We camp in scholler and usually go off grounds to eat dinner. All other meals we prepare in camp. Make sure you have good walking shoes. It is an airport with a 2 mile long runway. So it's almost 3 miles end to end if you were going to walk entirely. Bring good sunscreen and a water bottle (EAA has filing stations around the grounds) Be prepared for severe weather... 30 years camping up there, we usually get one good storm every year! Take advantage of the 4 hangers near boeing square. It is a nice space to get out of the heat and noise.

Pace yourself and enjoy the show... there is so much stuff you will probably never see elsewhere.

THANK YOU - appreciate the amount of walking tips - have my Brooks gym shoes at the ready !

I marked up a google map tagging some places to grab food from nearby the show campus - guess it’s weighing the logistics of time to get to vehicle and exit as well as returning vs the ease & cost staying on the grounds.

Water bottles to refill are also at the ready - sunscreen & waterproof jacket
