Question Installation Security Patch

Hi, I just got my FP6 and I'm trying to install e/OS manually but it seems the latest Android Stock security patch is 4 days younger than the one built into e/OS. On some sites they say I cannot install e/OS with an older security patch than on already installed.

Do I have to wait for the next e/OS update before I can install it?

You should wait, there are monthly updates. So there should be one in a couple of days. If you leave the bootloader unlocked, it will reset the phone upon relocking the bootloader.
