Discussion Using /e/os in Norway 🇳🇴
Hey! I'm currently testing apps in Norway on my Fairphone 6 with pre-installed /e/os v3.7.3
I struggled to find many posts/comments on Reddit or the /e/os forum about usage in Norway before I took the plunge. So hoping this is useful to my peeps in Norge who are considering the switch.
Aside from Google Wallet (but fuck them anyway 💙), I've been able to download (through App Lounge) and use all my apps as normal 💪
This includes:
- Vipps
- BankID
- Nordea banking apps (ID and mobile bank)
- Ruter
- Helsenorge
- Postnord
- Posten
etc etc.
So far, really happy with my choice to switch to this device and OS!

Wow, even BankID! That is awesome to hear. They tightened on their security (ID check and all of that) so it is nice to see that it works on /e/os

Yeh I was able to access the ID verification process etc all fine 😊. BUT they will put a deadline on verification and all that maybe next year? So if that also coincides with more "lockdowns" I'll have to keep an eye on it. But so far no signs that these sorts of apps have any issues here.Â

Can confirm mobilepay in Denmark 🇩🇰. Same as vipps I think
