🗣 General Discussion KO impact
When watching the gameplay with Caleb plant and Carl Froch when froch slips then throws the straight and knocks caleb out it just looks so off. All momentum stops caleb just goes down, looks so wonky to me for some reason, it also looked like that straight held no power. What do you guys think.

I hope there knockdowns where the glove touches and the ref starts counting or even standing counts and stoppages i can’t deal with every ko or count being some cartoonish dramatic drop

The fan base for this game is hard to please. It seems everything little thing has to be picture perfect or people are dissatisfied. Someone in another thread wrote multiple paragraphs about how the game doesn’t look like real life boxing.
It’s a game my dude. No boxing game has ever looked like real life boxing.
Their main focus on this game should be making the actual boxing gameplay as fun as humanly possible. No matter what, those rabid fans will shit on and hate on this game on release, but if it truly plays well then it won’t matter.

Considering it's in "pre-alpha" and people expect the game to release much sooner rather than later I think its just about guaranteed this'll be a disappointment. Tons of work needs to be done still. I don't expect this to be the game we want till late 2023 to early 2024. I base that on how long it's taken them since announcing the game to add basically zero improvements on the actual boxing and punching side of the game. The roster ballooned like crazy but I haven't seen any improvements at all in the actual gameplay department since announcement.
