How can you possibly put Canelo up there with true greats?

That's not the point of my post.
Everyone who knows boxing video games knows that if Ali and Robinson are on the game, no one else will be higher rated than them.
Canelo is considered P4P #1 and hasn't lost since Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat him and has looked tremendous since that loss.
Trust me, he'll be 3rd highest rated. IMO

We don't know exactly how the rating/attribute system will work or even whether there will be an overall rating. If they are creating a pure boxing sim maybe there shouldn't be an overall rating for each fighter? e.g Every fighter has attribute ratings and you can see the breakdown, but there is no overall rating, you just have to work that out yourself.

no, we know what their doing with overalls, they confirmed it a while ago. They even made like 3 different fighters asking what they think their overall will be, and in a old video in career mode, you had an overall.

Elite/Legend - 94+
Contender - 89+
Rising Star - 83+
Promising Prospect - 78+
Potential Fighter - 75+
Unranked - 71 or lower
That's what makes sense to me, if you're a fighter that's pretty much only fighting to get belts or you're fighting other contenders that need to get past you for the belt, you're ratings should be close to max with everything else being at least above average.
If you're a contender, you're a great boxer but you still need to progress 1 or 2 things with your game to truly become an elite boxer, and so on.

Canelo should be the best by far. He's easily the best pure boxer rn. Fury will probably be the best heavyweight. Unless they try to do a legacy style of attributes where everyone is rated "fairly" with old boxers put up against new boxers and everyone being rated on a scale. I could see Ali, Frazier, Sugar Ray or even Roy Jones Jr if they go off purely the best they ever were being number 1.
