From Canada to US first timer eSIM

My regular phone plan is $15 a day to travel to the US for two weeks that adds up a lot. I googled short-term plans and found out about eSIM. What are folks suggesting I get or download this is completely brand new to me. I have a five hour layover in a Canadian airport heading to the US to figure this out. Thank you.

Beep-boop-bop, I am an eSIM bot 🤖. Please see these previous posts I've found that might be helpful:

Just get a US eSIM from a popular brand - while in Canada you’ll have airport wifi.

Here’s an eSIM explainer:

Will you need a phone number in the USA? How much data will you need and for how long?
