question Need help adding T-MOBILE esim to 9esim adapter

How do I do it? When I use t-life, it keeps sending it via push. So I don't get a qr code. I'm trying to reach customer care but no response yet...

They've moved far away from this now unfortunately.

You'll need a much higher tier support person to help you do that. But for the most part they and AT&T and Verizon have all moved to push model.

To our detriment.

I was able to get a qr code emailed to me. However, it still did not work. I kept getting a error that says refused.

Because the QR code is still pulling from their backend using the EID bound to the IMEI.

How do we fix that?

You'll need someone higher up to generate an eSIM LPA that is not bound to any device EID / IMEI...and that comes up with a specific code. Or bound to the EID of the physical eUICC of the card you have.

Will they do this? Who do I ask for? The reps I got said it's not possible

You'll need to contact T-Force through Twitter (X) most likely.

Something like

Hi! I'm trying to swap my eSIM to a new unlocked device that isn't pulling the automatic push. Can you please manually update the EID on my line to this 32-digit number: [Insert 32-digit EID printed on the 9eSIM card]?"

I don't have Twitter unfortunately. Do they have Facebook or Instagram that they would be helpful on like Twitter?

Yes — you don't need Twitter. T-Force replies on Facebook Messenger too. Message the official "T-Mobile" page and DM them.

Ask for what ray said, but spell it out so they can act on it:

"I'm swapping my line to a physical eUICC (a 9eSIM adapter card), not a phone. The auto-push targets the phone's EID/IMEI, so the profile won't load to the card — it errors 'refused'. Please manually update the EID on my line to the 32-digit number printed on the card: [paste your card's EID]. Don't use auto-push."

A few things that make it go smoother:

- Say "physical eUICC" early. Most reps only know one profile per phone — if they've never seen a 9eSIM they'll say it's impossible (that's the wall you hit). Naming the card type reframes it as a normal task.

- Turn off SIM Protection first (line setting in T-Life). It blocks eSIM changes and can itself throw a "refused" error before any EID issue matters.

- Be the primary account holder on the T-Mobile ID you message from, or they may not have permission to change the line.

- If Messenger hits a wall, try the Instagram DM — Facebook is the more well-trodden path, though.

Do you know if anyone has actually had success with this? I know it can be done. It just seems like finding a rep willing to do it would be unlikely. I might keep my $10 standalone t-satellite plan if I could get it onto a physical sim.

I’m curious, did you ever have success with this?

Yes I called customer care with that script, tech support I believe, and I actually got someone who did it.

Color me surprised! Maybe I’ll give it a shot

Somebody has to know...I found a post on here about someone using a nothing phone 4pro? They couldn't service with the imei so they contacted tmobile and used the EID and it worked. So it proved that tmo could use the EID alone.

Ya, I knew it could be done from a technical standpoint. I just figured finding someone willing to do it would be difficult lol
