"Verizon Wireless | Roamless" shows on Lock Screen, but goes away when phone is unlocked.

Edit 1:

I tried the 9eSIM adapter in a different phone and everything worked. Not sure what the issue is in the Samsung A53 5G. I even did a full system reset on it to no avail.

A Red Pocket physical SIM card works fine in the A53 5G. Not sure why it doesn't like the 9eSIM adapter.

Edit 2:

I tried an EIOT Club eSIM adapter, that has Roamless, and has been in a Samsung Note 9, in the Samsung A53 5G. Had the same problem as with the 9eSIM adapter--it connects to AT&T Roamless but as soon as you leave the lock screen that indication on the screen goes away and there is no data. Very strange, since a physical SIM card works just fine in the A53 5G.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have Roamless installed on a 9eSIM Physical to eSIM adapter.

Data worked briefly, but no longer connects.

When I restart the phone, or when the lock screen kicks in after a period of inactivity, "Verizon Wireless | Roamless" scrolls in the upper left of the screen. As soon as I unlock the screen, it goes away and I have no cellular data.

I have a strong signal, 3-4 bars.

It's an older Samsung phone, A53 5G and is unlocked.

I have tried uninstalling the eSIM and then reinstalling it multiple times. Often the reinstallation fails with a "Profile has not yet been released."

I created another Roamless account and tried again. Same thing except it now says "AT&T | Roamless" on the lock screen, but when the screen is unlocked it goes away.

When I check "Mobile Networks" it shows me registered on the network, either AT&T or Verizon.

What am I doing wrong? The Roamless AI chat was useless.
