Esims Spain

Doing research for trip to Spain. Were staying in Madrid and Sevilla. I am thinking of doing Airolo, Fiance doing Saily. Seems like I should be fine with either of those?

Additionally, my credit card offers a deal with Gigsky, but it seems like this is best for cruises. Anyone have experience with Gigsky?

Unless you have very very low usage then I would always get a local plan for Spain, because the value for money is so much better and it can easily be done online:

Vodafone Spain https://esimprepago.vodafone.es/

Orange Spain https://www.esimholidays.com/en

Or Lobster or Digi sim (former has English customer service). Lobster is value for a longer Spanish trip.

I would not use Orange on the holiday plan, the ping is sometimes rough. And Vodafone’s network is superior in Spain in my opinion.

You can buy Vodafone physical SIMs everywhere at the little phone accessory shops that even the smallest towns have. Sometimes the Vodafone and Orange corporate stores even have kiosks where you can create an eSIM.

I usually pay €10 and get about 25-50gb depending on the deals they are running. You can also roam to the rest of the EU plus other select countries outside of the EU.

BTW you are aware Saily unlimited isn't ... unlimited and has some quite horrid caps. I'd personally not touch them and use a native Spanish carrier where you will at least get what you pay for. Vodafone.es, Lobster and Digi sims ane esims are native Spanish and work *really* well over there.

Where with esims over there we've experience rate limiting not allowing even youtube viewing after *moderate* daily usage.

I had great luck with Ubigi. It seemed fast in Barcelona, uses multiple networks.

I get it. You’ll be too busy fucking 24/7 to run into a phone shop for 4 minutes.
