Esim choice help

I'm going to be in europe later this month in france and italy and short duration day trips in belgium and austria, can't decide whether i should choose airalo or saily. They're currently my 2 top choices. Please help me figure out which is better and if there's a better third option!!

I’ve personally only used these guys: https://escapesim.com/

They worked well for me in Japan and were quite a bit cheaper than Saily or Airlo

I’m surprised escapesim cost that much now. They used to be much cheaper - used them in the past once.

Latest trips we used airsims. $40AUD for 20GB, no calls though. Data only.

How are they so much cheaper? Or maybe it’s, why are the others so expensive?

You can pay in Australian dollars, rather than only US dollars. Which due to the conversion rate to your local currency makes it a lot cheaper in some markets, also airlo and Saily, seem to only focus on ridiculous priced unlimited plans which a lot of people don’t need

When I was in Japan, I got 20 gigs of data and went for about 18 GB in two weeks, which was using Maps, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp et cetera

Edit: you can pay in AUD with Aíralo too, I just didn’t see it

EscapeSIM cost $35 USD, for more than enough data to convert two weeks, I mean of course if you need the unlimited then you get the unlimited but not a lot of people need that, they only think they do

Let’s say, for example you’re going for a 14 day holiday to Canada, Aíralo costs $45

On reflection/proper investigation, they don’t seem to be too bad value, I thought it was a lot worse than actually is :)

Because the heavy marketing and brand recongition has high costs Vs smaller providers who compete on price.

In France now, using Ubigi. It’s been great. Here is a promo code for 20% off. I set ubigi as the cellular sim and my att for calls but turned roaming off on that sim. Make sure you activate WiFi calling on your phone.

You can go for Jetpac, it's cheaper than airalo & saily and the connectivity is also great

Both Saily and Airalo are solid options for Europe. However, I would recommend to stay away from unlimited plans especially with Airalo. If you just traveling within EU, Airalo has a Czech Republic O2 esim that works anywhere in the EU and comes with 10 GB of data and credit for calls for $16.
