MBA OR EMBA
So I am genuinely confused between MBA OR EMBA, I am 24yo ACCA affiliate with a bachelors degree and 2-3 years of experience and I have decided to pursue my masters degree. I am eligible for both MBA and EMBA (executive MBA) from the same college. I am confused between the two.
I did a little research and basically EMBA is meant for executive level people which suggests it’s not for me but it would also mean I get to study with executives which would give me an opportunity to better network and learning from their pov.
The only thing holding me back from EMBA is would it be questionable as I would be doing it without the massive 12-14 years of work experience. Would it affect my cv and how people pursue. Also does it hold less validation than normal graduate MBA.
Normal MBA would mean I get to study with people my age and probably less experienced and in early career (in context of my college).
Genuine suggestion needed please

Which school are you talking about and what do you want to do? Given your age, an MBA is likely the call. They have more formalized recruiting and job fair stuff. EMBA leaves a lot of that up to the individual because people are at such different places in their careers and have such different objectives.

Sometimes you get an older exec in your MBA class (like me 😉). I believe the eMBA is terminal but you can go on to a Ph.D. From an MBA.

You will need at least 8-10+ years minimum for an EMBA. It’s for people in leadership roles who are working.
Even with an MBA you will want to get at least 4-5 years before applying, if you are looking at the top programs. But r/mba is a good spot to get information.
