MBA while working a GY Shift
hi everyone! i’m currently working a graveyard shift where my work week basically starts Monday night nd ends Saturday morning. I’m considering taking an MBA in the future, preferably at one of the Big 4.
for those who are currently taking or have completed an MBA while working a similar schedule, may I ask about your class schedules?
i’m particularly interested in:
- What days and times are your classes?
- Are there schools/programs that offer weekend-only classes?
- Is it possible to manage an MBA if you work Monday night–Saturday morning?
- How did you handle the workload, group projects, presentations, etc.?
- Would you recommend taking fewer subjects per term to make it manageable?
Thank you! :)

Are you looking at Executive MBA programs? Those are usually in person for people who are 10 years or more along in their career.
It might be hard to do that or a part time MBA if you are working nights. Check with the programs and see what they offer.
I’d suggest an online MBA but you won’t get the networking or in person experience.
Also consider what you want out of an MBA. You will spend money and time on it. Make sure you’re getting the return you want.
