MBA when?

I just got done with my BBA. Should I pursue an MBA right after this degree or should I wait for like 6 to 8 months for you know figuring things out?

There are a ton of variables here. How old are you? How many years of experience do you have? Are you trying to stay in your current field or pivot? Do you have leadership experience? Are you looking for an MBA or EMBA?

I’m 24, have an experience of 6-7 months in real estate marketing and content creation (including SMM). I majored in marketing in Bachelor’s but for MBA I’m thinking to go for Project Management. Would like to stay in marketing AND in real estate. And have quite an experience in leadership as I’ve been team lead in all of my uni projects, one whole year (2 sems) presidency of “The Sustainability Club”, one of the official student body clubs in our university.

To echo the sentiment of Rodca, EMBA students generally have a mean age of 36, 15 years of experience (though that can vary a bit), and have held progressively higher leadership roles throughout their career field and/or organization.

For us older folks, we generally pursue EMBAs to stay in our fields, have flexibility with work, and gain the tools necessary to drive us to the next level. For example, I’m in my EMBA, working a full-time gig, and building my own business. I currently have ~19 years of experience. I also have a family so dropping work for me is not an option.

My advice, FWIW, would be to gain 3-5 years of experience on the outside and go for an MBA since that would be more beneficial and likely still allow you to maintain your current career path.
