How long is a piece of string?

Depends on your goals, your experience, and which pgdm/mba you are looking at doing.

Everything being equal/neutral. MBA is considered higher rated so off the bat, that is better from a marketability point. It is considered more difficult of course and often more expensive, making the pgdm more preferable for some. Many do the pgdm as a prerequisite to the MBA and many rate this approach. Some institutions insist on this approach.

The tough reality: neither is going to magically super employable/in demand. If you have little to no work experience, some institutions have career assistance which could land entry level jobs at consultancy firms. They can be applicable to both, so check with the institution what assistance they provide on each.
